It just struck me when I was trying to come up for a title to this that its hard to figure out if things are improving, are things going uphill or downhill. It seems to me that they are both terms used to describe bad things. For example, “her medical condition can only go downhill from here”. So downhill is referencing bad situations. And for uphill, “your work will only be uphill until the end of the year”. Also not a pleasant reference. So what exactly do you use for situations that are improving, on the up and up?

I have it. Things are perfectly level with me. Saw Minority Report yesterday. Its a sweet movie. If you like movies that make you think and aren’t 100% predictable, its great. Sort of like the Matrix but much less mind blowing.

Anyway, must go for now.
