Have you ever suddenly come upon a lot of money and not really known what to do with it? Not money that you earned, but that just kind of shows up for you to spend? You might think its really great to get all this money for no good reason but it ends up being a giant pain. Because you realize what you can do with all this money showing up. For me at least, I came up with a couple things I’d rather like to have:
Like this awesome 12-Disc JVC CH-X1100RF
And this Samsung ML-1450
And of course fixing the hideous $700 dents on the passenger side of my car.
Except then I feel guilty about spending all that money. I mean, I don’t /need/ any of those things. The cd player would be nice, the printer would save me some hassle and the dent is just hideous. I have the money to pay for all those things but I feel like I should be giving my money away. I mean, I didn’t earn it so why do I necessarily deserve to spend it all. Then I am told that “go, spend it, but you need to learn how to budget”. Oh, that makes sense…I am supposed to spend it with a budget. Well, I can work with that, after all, budgeting is a good skill to have. Ok, so now I have to do what? I have to keep a jar and put money in it? Oh crap, why… so I can learn how to budget. What does budgeting have to do with jars? Thats the way “I” do it. And you are such an excellent example because you think that the way to pay off your visa is with your mastercard. Fine then, bring on the jars.
