I went to see the life of david gale tonight…

…shear forces tearing me apart
fear bubbling up inside
morbidly wanting it
wanting to tear away
to throw of the bonds of timidity
into the ground

go swirling into the fiery night
passing through the shocking light

longing for it
holding it deep inside
locked away for so long
exploding forth
gushing out
oh god I can’t control it

sweat beads across my brow
palms everywhere
thoughts anywhere
I gasp
moaning
what can I do
how do I make it stop

the roller coaster slams its riders down into its seats
the rush is wild
my brain is crushed
time stretched into a thin ribbon
what’s happening

sobbing into a pillow…
