Well, that right there, ladies and gentlemen, is why my profile needed some updating. Because, you see, I’m no longer a poor bastard high school student. Now, I am a powerbook toting, destitute college student at Brown University. That’s in Providence…Rhode Island…its near Boston.
I like the macintosh. I’ve decided to boil down my feelings about operating systems to just that sentence. Because I realized how much I miss our old macs, our Performa 475, our Mac Classic, our PowerBook 5300. They were such great computers. Yeah, they crashed a lot, but they were fun to use and goof around with. When I was younger, I always associated Windows with my dad’s office, where they ran Windows 3.1 (emphasis on younger). It was so serious. The only game to play was solitare, and it wasn’t much fun, certainly not anything like IndyCar II.
Music. Yeah.
Reading. Well…we’ll just leave it at “reading”.
I like to break things. I think my dream job would be a crash test engineer at IIHS. I constantly watch crash test movies and demolition shows just to see things get totally ripped apart. I used to have an obsession with smashing empty tissue boxes up like little cardboard cars and think there is nothing better than things that shatter.
Is that enough? I need to study for a math test.
