what i want: rss/newsreaders

Does anyone know of something like News Is Free but better?

If you don’t know what “News Is Free” is, then the only explanation that won’t take awhile to explain is this: it’s a News Reader, like NetNewsWire, but instead of being an application you download and run on your computer, it is a web application.

To accomplish what I want to do right now, i’d have to put my subscription file on the server, download the file, download a news reader, import my subscriptions, and finally weed through what I have and have not read. If I used something like News Is Free–instead of going through that long process–I can simply load up a website. What would be even better is if a website and NetNewsWire could sync, and always know what I had and had not read at all times.

Allow me to consume my feeds any way I want to at any time. Give me a way, I dare you.

P.S. I’ll let you know how the News Is Free thing goes.
