Mapquest
I went to use Mapquest this morning and discovered something interesting. I had to get directions from IKEA to Fry’s (I’ve never been to our new Fry’s yet) and when I went to their website it said at the top “If everyone who used Mapquest drove a 2004 Toyota Prius (presumably only the distance they requested on Mapquest) they would have saved $4,001,603,375 in gas money.” Think about that for a moment, and then think about all those people driving their Prius all the time. If you take the current average gas price of $1.51/gal, it means that 2,650,068,460 gallons of gas would have been saved. Buy a Prius for your next new car.
