Happy System Administrator Appreciation Day! (ok, so it was yesterday, don’t take the luster off of my attempt at celebration)

Can you believe it? Only two short days from now, Jesse will be here and we will be geeking out hardcore with our laptops. Well, sort of…if FedEx ever gets the computer anywhere near here. Customs is screwed up on my iPod, so I probably won’t see it until sometime mid-August. So much for paying for 2-3 day shipping. But I digress…I am in a frenzied state trying to ensure that I finish things before Jesse arrives.

I had a bunch of stuff to blog about, but as usual, I didn’t make a note of it before I forgot, so I will turn to talking about this book. I don’t have a whole lot to say about it other than its a little amusing that its controversial. Somehow, I am not convinced that this guy writing a book is much of a problem or threat.

For those of you who are like me, and fascinated by architecture, a great website to visit for an abundance of information that you’d never know about tall buildings is here. And I also just discovered a nifty MoMA site about tall buildings.
